Having trouble staying awake through four-hour baseball playoff games? Don't worry, we have a remedy for your boredom and it's called pro football. But who are the NFL's most exciting players? We pored through hours of video to provide you with our choice of the five players guaranteed to give fans their money's worth. Here's our list of the five most exciting NFL players ...
1. Reggie Bush: Do you need a halfback to run between the tackles for a tough two-yard-gain? Bush is probably not your guy. But if you need a 71-yard punt return for a TD -- or a 64-yard one in the same game -- Reggie is the man for you. Bonus points for his not-so-ugly girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
2. Darren Sproles: Sure, LaDainian Tomlinson may get the majority of carries (and love from fantasy football owners), but we'd much rather watch the 5-foot-6 Sproles. Whether it's a 103-yard kickoff return or a simple screen pass turned into a 66-yard touchdown pass, Sproles makes us stand up and cheer.
3. DeSean Jackson: The rookie may have made the dumbest play of the season with his premature touchdown celebration against Dallas a few weeks ago -- not to be confused with this equally dumb play he made while in high school -- but you can only mess up a touchdown celebration if you make it to the end zone in the first place. And we expect to see a lot more celebrations before the year is over.
4. Matt Prater: We know what you're thinking: How can a kicker be exciting? Matt Prater fits the bill. Not just for his ridiculously strong right leg, but also because he has some badass tattoos. We like our kickers with a bit of an attitude.
5. Devin Hester: Even though Hester may not have returned a kick for a touchdown yet this year (after returning two kicks and four punts for TDs last season), the third-year dynamo is beginning to make his mark as a receiver with touchdowns in the past two games. Simply stated, there are few players in the NFL more dangerous in the open field -- or more exciting.
Who do you think are the most exciting players in the NFL? Let us know below ...

No defensive players? Really? I know most of America loves flashy offensive play but come on.

Are you serious? you chose a kicker? ....here allow me to correct you lousy work.
My List:
1. Reggie Bush -Don't get excited, you failed this test, see below.
2. Adrian Peterson - See 2007
3. Randy Moss -See 2007
4. LT - Sproles is his back up for a reason, LT is still the man.
5. Bob Sanders (yes, he plays defense)
Also, as a note: You can't give out points to Reggie b/c you have a crush on his girl.
Your article was weak, do some homework next time.

I agree with Sproles but the comment about LT getting love from fantasy owners is way off. LT's FF performance this has been a slow start. Let's hope his toe is all healed up now.

How in the world is Randy Moss, LT, or Adrian Peterson not on your list. Also if I might add, Steve Slaton might be the under the radar since he's a rookie but look out for him on your list next year!!! Also Kurt Warner may be a 103 years old but the dude has got a cannon.

Are we talking today? Bush had one game. You people just aren't watching.
There are "the 5 guys that I like to watch play"
Antoine Wilson
Anquan Boldin
Ray Lewis
AD (that would be Peterson, for those who don't know his nick).
Ronnie Brown (this year, as I am interested in this new football in the NFL).
Bonus Player-Cromartie-he will eventually be the most dominant player in a secondary in the NFL.
The others listed previously in this thread hold nothing to my list. Turner and Sproles deserve a mention. There are several more, but the fact is, this is a fun time to watch pro football.

Average list...but to be fair, no matter who you put up, plenty of people would criticise (but that's part of the reason to do these lists, eh...to generate fan response...which makes advertisers think its worth to pay for advertising as lots of people are looking)...
Felix Jones should be in the conversation...not saying he's top 5, but he's definitely in the conversation....

Felix Jones, where to start?
Week 1- 1st career carry, blows right through the D for a 11 yard TD. 2nd carry, breaks for 18, later on 2nd and 13 busts one for 22.
Week 2- MNF, divisional rival. 98 yard TD kick return in the first quarter. Follows that with 247 kick return yards, giving the O a short field to work with all night.
Week 3- SNF, 2-0 GB at Lambeau. 6-3 GB lead and the offense is stagnant. 60 yard TD run by Felix. Cowboys go on to romp the Pack.
Week 4 - Cowboys only loss and guess who gets no carries.
Week 5- 4th and 4, pitch right, 33 yards later, TD. 9 carries, 96 yards on the day.
The guy is a big play waiting to happen.
