RULES: A single argument can't go past 25 words. I am in class right now so I don't want to spend much time on this.

TOPIC: Who will win Men's Hockey 2010 Olympic Gold

-----

Canada wins.

They will overcome the enormous pressure by feeding off what could be perhaps the greatest home advantage in the history of Olympic sport!

Nope canada will lose to the usa hockey team. USA pride baby
canada will crack under the pressure

Both Russia and Sweden pose greater threats to Canada than the U.S.

If Canada could submit two teams, they'd win Gold ANNNNND Silver!

OHHHHHHHH CANNNNNNNNADAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

USA all the way USA is a dominating force to be reckoned with

USA has no pressure and will play like beast

GOD BLESS AMERICA

The US may win a medal.

But only under one condition.

If everything goes absolutely right they can squeak out a bronze.

Fackin' school. I loathe thee.

I have probably asked this already before, but what do you take? Are you in J- School?

Russia ?

November 6, 2009  03:55 PM ET

Why do Americans say hackey? Phil Kessel is probably the worst, always saying hackey, Komisarek does it too, and most American hockey players say hackey.

It's just the bush way of saying it. I'm Canadian and I often say hackey.

Let me better clarify...

NHL...Hockey

Olympics...Hockey

Juniors/CHL...Hockey

Shinny on the pond...HACKEY

Regardless, US = No chance. I'd personally go with the Finns or Swedes.

I sometimes call it hackey to for fun, but most Americans say hackey all the time.

Say that to Mike Erozione (sp?). Everyone has a chance in any sport at anytime. Is it unlikely the U.S. wins gold? Yes. But it is possible.

I see US, with no pressure on them, coming in and surprising quite a few teams this winter... They seem to definitely be flying under the radar with very little hype. That can spell good things for USA Hockey.

Nice.

Remember it didn't say that the US had to be the team to beat Canada. It just said that Canada wouldn't be beaten.

So, if the Russians, or the Swedes, or the Finns, or the Americans, or the Jamaicans for that matter, can pull off an upset, then the Canadians don't win!

Too many possibilities to figure they will just cruise through....

November 6, 2009  08:35 PM ET

Oh yeah--Jamaican hockey team fever--CATCH IT, mon!
